Upper EFI intake
Is there a stock upper EFI intake with a Mustang style single throttle body to fit a stock 351W lower intake? This is on an 88 engine, has 8 oval inline ports. This is different than the 302 with rectangular ports and the funny 5 sided port at the front. Is there a Mustang upper that will fit or do I have to get both upper & lower GT40 intakes?

The answer to your question is yes. I can't recall who makes it, but it sounds as if you have the mustang lower intake shape (oval rather than round GT40 ports). Contact Edelborck, Holley, Saleen, Vortech, and any others you can find. Maybe best to go to a mustang website, like the Corral.
