Exhaust???

Hey Guys, new here. Been reading this forum for a while. Learned lots of great info, from a lot of great people, thanks. I have an 08 f350, just wondering if changing the exhaust from the particulate filter back will actually do any good. Some places are claiming 25hp/60lbs. Any comments appreciated.

It might have increased the response a little but not enough to notice. it makes a little more noise after a regen (ehnr its clean) but not enough to buy just for that....

It's a sad thing

I can almost guarantee that removing the muffler will not do anything. I removed the stock tailpipe today found out something kinda funny. The muffler on 6.4's is not even a muffler. It's a solid pipe going strait through the can. No baffles, ports, no nothing. It does not restrict anything or reduce sound.

WoW!!!

Thanks for the replies, Hey SouthTexasDiesel I believe you just saved me a lot of money. Did you do the delete and all that good stuff, or are you just doing the exhaust?

Full 5" turbo back delete pipe getting delivered on Monday (I believe it's the first one ever made for a 6.4). Once that's on I'll be putting on a set of black 6" Aussie stacks.

South Texas Diesel:

What a great post: (yours):

I just wonder where all these fantastic offers come from. Seems your photographs show it the way it is. I have enough wrenches to look and see, but I believe what you say. I love my truck, the way it is.
