Where on the truck would a transmission chip be located?

 

Not really sure what you mean by a tranny chip? Are you talking like a performance chip for the trans? If so the engine and trans are both controlled by the PCM behind the driverside kick panel and parking brake assembly.

 

i thin khe may be referring to a banks transcommand or a b&m shift kit, the transcommand is normally on the left side of the frame just under the paseenger door area, and the b&m module is normally zip tied to something under the hood near the brake mastercylinder, other then that the kits are internal
