Originally there were part numbers for each cable, but Ford later on in the decade replaced all the cables with one universal cut to fit type (C5TZ-9700-N).

So, while there are no Ford part numbers for the cables listed in the parts catalog, all the original cable numbers and what they were replaced by = C5TZ-9700-N, are listed in the Ford OSI (Obsolete-Supercede-Interchange) Catalog.

The original cable ID engineering numbers are listed in the Master Cross Reference Catalog.

All this gibberish means I can figure out the original part numbers for them all.

The choke cables used the same ***** from 1961/66 on every F Series truck, which means there are over 40 different choke cables.

How long are your choke cables?

While the parts numbers may have changed, the original lengths and ID numbers are shown in the parts catalog for each and every one of them.

C5TZ-9700-K .. Choke Cable / 1965/66 F100/250 2WD & F350 / 352 / 35.50" -long

Rus, Wonder if the short one was for the 352 and the long one for the 240 since it had to go over the engine.

Didn't think about that John, you might have a point.I measured them and one is 35 inches and the other is 39 1/2 inches.Don't see a part # on them.Come back on this Number D. just curious on what I have to sell here.I sell a lot of 65 and 66 parts at the flea market.

39 1/2" one is for a 65-62wd and F350with 240 and 300 engines..
Also works on 65-6 1/2 and 3/4 ton 4wd w/352 its orig. number is c5tb9700M

I couldnt find a cable 35" long for use in our 65-6 trucks...35 1/2 was used on 65-6 2wd w/352 though...its orig. number was c5tb9700k

As ND said above though...all the choke cables were changed to have the one universal replacement from Ford with the number he stated above.

This isnt all the applications as some of these lengths work on big truck and bus models.
