Mechanical Temp Gauge
At the urging of the members here - I am installing a mechanical temp gauge. Finding a spot that is visible to the driver was fun - brake controller, cd player, Pyrometer, etc. But..
How do you install the line through the firewall - drill a hole?? Or is there an existing hole I should be able to use. I need at least a 5/8 hole to get the nut through. Also - what should I fill the hole with - fire caulk, silicon, etc?

89 F-350 Crew Cab, dually, long bed, 7.3 IDI with Hypermax Turbo and 5 spd Tranny.
