Tips and Tricks...

Well i went muddin today... got the truck good and dirty and the under carriage well its one large chunk of mud... never new it could be so hard to get a truck dirty... but any way... Now ive got all this mud on my truck and it draws attention some of it good some of it bad. I.E. cops.
I got pulled over not once not twice but 3 times driving from south lubbock to north lubbock, maybe 20 miles. I was let off all 3 times after being told that i need to get my truck cleaned up because it could be hazardous if a large chunk fell off into the road. or something similar to that... Well after spending about an hour at the local car wash... Im about 400lb's lighter and about 1/4 of the way done with the truck... so anybody got any tips to make this go by faster and cheaper...

If you spray the underbody with pam cooking spray, or light oil in a spray bottle, the mud won't stick very well, and will just fall off. Mud drag trucks do it to keep them light as can be in the pits.

i would need a case of pam... My truck isnt exactly small... I could see applying that to a 4wheeler. But a fullsize ext cab long bed truck? It would never end... Thanks for the tip though... can apply that one to the 4wheeler... never though of that.

or the oil in a spray bottle set on mist. They do it to fullsized mud trucks all the time.

just dilute the oil into your pressure washer. then spray that underthere. when it comes time to clean it just go to the car wash and use the degresse spray.

With a good spray bottle, I can't see it taking longer than 2 minutes tops to spray the underbody down, but hey thats just me I guess.
