But I'm guessing that no matter what, if they came stock on the 80 Bronco then they would have to allow them on that vehicle regardless of the way the current laws are written.
I don't think they can make you change them (once again if they are OEM and stock).
Now, putting them on a later model may be another story. I guess there's only one way to find out!
Well, maybe more than one way .... I guess I could ask my ol' friend Mr. State Policeman.
I'm guessing that you have to run amber light in them though, no?
Yes, the amber bulb is what is needed. There were 2 styles as one was painted amber-and they always faded to clear, the other was actually amber colored glass, they lasted longer color wise and seemed to be brighter.
I may go ahead and try those aftparts lights, like I said, I really like them. But I liked the smoked ones too. LMC has all the rest of the lenses I want in clear, I just need to find some clear running lights.
I know in KS. and OK. they have to be yellow or white but I had some green ones on a car once I got pulled over all the time but none of them ever gave me a ticket. Makes me wounder if they even can .Now don't get it wrong no red or blue but come green what would that be ?????

Actually the 1980 and 1981 to the production date of 11/80, F-series and broncos came with Clear front turn signal lenses using a 1157-A amber bulb.
