I just bought a water injection pump and am trying to find out what exactly I have. I don't know what year it is or what it's from. There are 3 sets of numbers on the side. top number is 78GG 13K 082-CA, 058 APE 12V, 0392 003 450. Any help would be appreciated. I called the Ford dealership and he said he had nothing on any of the numbers

 

What is it supposed to do?
Inject water into the intake like an aftermarket system to reduce detonation on high compression engines??

None of those numbers are a Ford part number. it would start with a letter and a number like D7 for 1977 or E8 for 1988 etc.

 

This is the way the numbers are on the side of the injection pump with the "FORD" symble above the numbers
