Hey, a big thanks to everyone here who contributes to ideas, and help topics. I bought an extended warrenty for my TT when I bought it but my dealership is clear across town (about 30 miles) so the few issues I have had I fixed myself thanks to this forum, and all you knowledgable people. I guess the warrenty is still there if I have a big issue, but for the smaller stuff it is good to have a support group.
I started out in the 50's with a 1935 Chevy 4-door sedan cut off from the windshield back and a homemade camper built on it. When I got married in 1960 my wife and I started camping in a tent. We then graduated from the tent to a camper then a conventional trailer, a little Scotty, and in 1985 moved up to a 31' 5th wheel. We have had three different 5th wheels since; so believe me I have had a lot of towing experience. I get on here quite frequently to help people out with my vast experience, but more often than not I am the one that learns something new. So stay with the site and share your experiences and learn as I have. Good luck and many happy safe towing miles.
I used part of the money I saved due to this site helping with my powerstroke, to become a supporter. Well worth it.
Hey Dale I hear ya. I was a supporter, but I got laid off this year, and I have been relaxing as I look for a new and better job. When I get to working again, I will jump back in the supporter group. Plus I liked club FTE.
As the trailers get older the more repair is needed and the more help from everyone is greatly appreciated by one and all.
Support FTE to keep the site viable and interesting for all.
