There ya go, Ray Charles. Glad I could help.

I apreciate everyone's help with this. I wasn't trying to stir anythng up. Just wanted a little advice. I pick up the truck today and I am sure I will be leaning on a few of you guys for advice. I do know that the brakes are gonna need some work. I'd like to attempt to do some of this work myself.

I'm a little torn up about this whole thing because the one person I could have asked for advice about this truck was my dad who passed away six months ago. He would have gotten a lot of pleasure turning wrenches with me on this ol' Slick. This truck will make me remember a lot of things about my dad and for that I am very hapy with my purchase no matter what I paid or what it's worth.

You boys take care and I'll be seeing you around.

Dan

Your dad didn't didnt go anywhere, he be right there with you. Dont think so listen sometime ... better known as your Super Ego.. "no thats not sarcasm" it's the truth. I've learned to listen to them (Grandparents) who I'm quite sure are right there 100% of the time. Making some easy decisions these days.

Best of luck with the Slick! Bob
