Well, My boss is in negotiations with our treasurer to see if we can't put a new motor in my truck on our company credit card. I started volunteering for the program when I was 15. i am now going to be 24 next month, to say the least I have a bit of time invested into our program and I don't think I'm going anywhere els. Heck I've been there longer then our treasurer. LOL. So hopefully she will agree its well worth having me around and for that to be possible I NEED MY TRUCK! If she doesn't agree then I will take it to our board. Seeing as I have my boss (CEO/Founder/Director/Owner) on my side I don't think it will be a issue. So maybe by the middle of next month I will be rolling again with a BRAND NEW motor.
In other news I finally got my t-shirt and sticker. Have to say I like them both. I'll like the sticker even better when its on my back window right above my "Blanco Basura" sticker. I'll let you all know what happens!
This is very good news. With the Top Gun on your side this should be a no-brainer for the treasurer to figure out. Good Luck but I hope you don't need it. Just like everyone has been saying "things will turn in your favor". You deserve it too.
Thanks guys! Also I just got a call from an old friend of mines mom... And she wants to GIVE me her 1960 Lincoln Continental. It needs some work but it runs and drives. i will post pic's when and if I get it.
Nolan, I think that since your truck has done tow duty for the program, there is good reason for them to follow through. Also, for those of you keeping up with the saga, I sleep next to one of the board members every night. I will talk to her tonight. I know she will go for it. Although, she knows Nolan is the one who gave me PMS....
Peter thanks for the offer but it looks like its all going to be ok. Don't worry about talking to sharon about it. I'd rather keep it quite for now until everything is said and done...
