I drove my truck to the Ole Miss vs LSU baseball game yesterday. When I left the game to come home, I started the truck, put it in reverse, backed out of the parking space, put it in drive and then "NO THROTTLE".
I have NO throttle response, but the engine and tranny work just fine. If I push the pedal to the floor I get nothing but idle. Luckily I have a DP tuner and opted for the "high-idle" setting that's around 1200rpm. I was able to take backroads all the way home.
I've noticed that none of the gauges are working on my dash (speedo, tach, fuel, engine temp, etc.). I do get a few lights, but not all of them.
Leo, our trucks are (fly by wire), we don't have a cable going to the carb like a gas engine of old days. We have a sensor that tells the PCM where the pedal is at a given time as you press down on it. I have seen many post about this. If it is not a fuse, you will have to buy a whole TPS to fix this.
Yep, I 2nd the 10A red mini fuse #19. I found a bare wire in my steering column at the base of the shifter. You can put a little tape on it, or you can replace the shift lever itself for about $45 from the dealer. The wire I found chafed controlled the OD. Hope this helps..
