The gouges are probably from where my dad tried to run over a curb. The driver side tire is only worn on the outside.

Those 2wd twin I-beams love to chew up tires. We made the mistake of getting two (only get 450/550s now since they are solid axle even 2wd models). Personally, I think they need to be aligned at least every 10,000 miles. I get ours done sooner than that to keep the tires from getting eaten (not sure if it's because we haul wait and tow daily or not).
