choke?

how do i adjust to choke so it opens fully when the engine is hot?

it only opens half way then stops.

If your carb has electric choke, check to see that the electric housing is indexed properly. There should be an arrow with a couple marks before and after on the housing and a mark on the carb (or the other way around) and should be lined up.

If it's an electric choke loosen the three screws that hold down the housing. Then turn it forward or aft.

Also check to see that the wire is connected properly and is live when the engine is running.

the choke has live power, there are screws but the heads are machined flat, untouched since we bought it

choke?

is the choke a stand-alone unit or is it controlled by a relay or something? it has one air tube from the block, an electric wire and two adjustment screws- how do you adjust them to perfect settings or is it a one on one kind of thing?
