power steering install

power steering install

i have a 69 f-100 with a 240 cid. did ford offer power steering in this truck. how hard is it to install power steering in this truck. any wisdom from any one would be helpful.

Welcome to FTE!
That truck is capable of having power steering, if that's what you are asking.
I'll be doing a full write up with pictures in a month or so as I do another truck.

Find a 73-79 donor half ton with the I-6 and tranny like you have now or want to swap to, buy it and harvest the I-beams and related parts, sell what you don't need and put power disc brakes and power steering on your truck.
