There is no cold air intake for a 400 from the factory, or from the aftermarket. There are many who have fabricated their own using air cleaners from other vehicles and connecting hoses to air from outside the engine compartment. There is one air cleaner from a Chysler vehicle that has a double snorkel that is easily plumbed to outside air.
I think that it's from an early '70s Mopar. I don't know which model, but it is for a 4 barrel carb. If you have the factory Ford 2 barrel carb, it probably won't fit.
Have you searched places like Summit Racing, or Google. Maybe the is someone who makes a universal air cleaner with one or two snorkel tubes. I have seen something like that on drag cars. Again it wouid be for a 4 barrel carb.
This is what I have seen. I hope this link works. This is an Airbox. It has two 4" dia. inlets. They also sell 4" tubing and funnels that replace the headlamps. Of course that couldn't be used for a vehicle driven on the road, but you could fabricate your own intake.
Second Ram Air Box. The factory system actually did duct air from the firewall next to the battery box. It was pretty restricted though. I use a single 4" hose through a 14x5 filter and that's problably plenty.
