VIN locked Superchip ?
Looks like I got I may have got screwed by an Ebay seller....got a used #1715 for my 98 4.6L....ad said it was "professionally installed and removed and retested to verify"......after I plugged it in....I got the VIN locked message....decided to go a lil further .....got stopped at the "not stock program...error 09"......the scanner portion works fine.....had a P0401.....cleared it then got the P1000.....I have started but not driven the truck since yesterday.....can Superchip reset the tuner for me and at what costs if anyone has had to deal with this ?

They are very reluctant to do it, especially now that they have the MVP program. I don't think they will do it for any price short of a new tuner. I think your best choice is to send it back to the seller and get your money back.
