After driving and playing with this truck all evening I found a sensor wire that is unplugged on the master cylinder (looks like it has been burnt almost into). I think I'm going to drive the truck the rest of the weekend, take it back on Monday and keep looking.
Thanks guys

That sensor wire is probably for the cruise control switch, and Ford has a recall for them burning up so you may want to check into that.

On a side note a guy I know had a truck exactly like mine color and everything except his was stock with about 200K and the traded his in on a new PSD and the dealer gave him 18k on his trade.... I don't know what kind of deal he got on the new one, but I was really shocked to hear the gave him 18k on his old one..

Thats what he told you he got on trade. Unless they never touched the price of the new one. I know places like that. They mark up the new, then make it look like yours is worth a billion dollars too. Paperwork is all smoke and mirrors, unless youve seen the magicians act before. If he was giving 18k for powerstrokes, then he would be the worlds LARGERST OBS powerstroke dealer........LOL

Bought my 95 PSD last year for $9K. 98k orig miles and was the cleanest and best looking used truck I have ever seen. When I went to look at it, turned out I knew the guy (which helped). He babied the truck. Gave me a folder 4" thick of everything ever done to it. Even had the trans rebuilt. I love the truck. It looks as if it is only 2 yrs old.

Hope you find what your looking for

If you wait a bit and keep looking I think you will come across a sweet deal, especially with the price of fuel going up people are gonna start to think about selling.

Good Luck

The biggest problem with this truck is the rust. Anybody looking to buy one of these trucks needs to look at trucks that are from the west and southwest where rust is not a problem. You will never regret the plane ticket to go get a rust free truck!
