here is a picture of my hub locks, tell me if they look stock of aftermarket
also why dont they put grease fittings on our hubs so we can grease the bearings etc?
I wonder if I can add one in the center of the dial Hmmmmm?????????????
well I'm going to have to take this apart to grease up everything anyways
so I am going to look and see if there is any places I can put grease fittings
boat trailer caps have a fitting so you can grease them frequently
after they have been down in the muck and water
so why not our 4x4's?
I think one should be able to be put in the dial on the lock out?
maybe one back farther on the hub
it would really be nice to get one where it will get grease to the bearings?
any thoughts on this????
here is a better picture that shows the bolts
can anyone ID these?
it has a disc brake conversion, HD D44, but what I am wondering is?
was this a full time 4x4?, could I possibly have a 203 transfer case?
I am just trying to figure out as much as I can about what has been done to this truck
can anyone tell me how to take this apart?
Anyone.....Anyone?
Class........Class?
Surely someone can helpa Brother out? and yes I called you Shirley
does the lock out hub come off first or can I just unbolt it from the main hub?
I sent some pictures to superwinch but probably wont hear back from them till next week
I understand its just a lock out, but I have not seen them like this
so I am just tryin to get some info on them
i think those are what is called external locking hubs. not sure i have never seen anything like them. as far as the transfercase if your **** has a shift pattern like this then it is a 203

hi loc
let me post a pic of the back of my 203 and you can see what it looks like brb.
Thanks, that helps. no my shifter is not like that
I will check the back of it, I wasnt sure if it was a conversion
so more then likely just take the outer off first then just figure it out as I go
Yea I have never seen them like this before either?
thats whats throwing me off so I figured I'de throw it out there
I'm sure it will not be a problem at all
but I was just hoping for some info on them
Thanks F Dude!!!
hey what are you going to do with your 203 when you swap?
as far as my 203 im not sure what i am going to do with it. i was thinking of keeping it incase i blow up the 205 but it is alot more work to change them than i originally thought. plus the 203 probably needs rebuilt and i dont think i am going to put money into a chain drive t/c
if you decide to get rid of it let me know
we are not all that far apart
I am looking to get one some day to make a doubler out of
but I am in no hurry right now, thats why I figure I'de ask
