so i can just clean it and pour my gear lub in and the friction midafire in at once and go right? i just need to get the clutches to dis engage. hope this helps. plz let me know thankx george
Do you have a problem with your rearend? If your clutches are locked up tight (is that possible?) a simple fluid change may not help.
Also, in case you need it there is a spell check feature located on the top right of the reply board above the smiley's.

thankx for all your help guys, i just went out and bought mobil1 and friction midafirer. now the only question i have is someone told me to take the rear end out and soke the clutches in this friction midafire. what do i do here? i have no idea how to take the rear end out? is it hard to do or am i just wasting my time? please help.
HEY GEORGER DO NOT REMOVE THE REAR END TO SOAK THE FRICTION MODIFIER!! JUST TAKE OFF YOUR REAR PLATE EXAMIN THE REAR HOUSING AND GEARS, TAKE A CLEAN RAG AND WIPE OUT AS MUCH OF THE HOUSING AS YOU CAN,PUT THE REAR PLATE BACK ON WITH SOME BLUE AUTOMOTIVE RTV AND RFILL THE HOUSING TO SPECS.. DON'T FORGET TO PUT THE FRICTION MODIFIER IN FIRST..IF YOU WANT TO YOU CAN INSTALL A MAGNET AT THIS TIME AND DRIL AND TAP FOR A DRAIN PLUG I/4 INCH PIPE PLUG
