Man 29 years and 169000 miles ago I must have bought a lemon.
Referring to my previous post. Can I replace the rear output shaft seal on a New Process 205, by unbolting the tailshaft housing , pulling the yoke, anddo the work on the bench?
Somebody told me there are loose roller bearings in there.
Maybe this question has been posted to death and nobody wants to open it back up.
I could just tear into it but would like to have some info.

Yes, you can do it that way. There are roller bearings in there. When I pulled mine they stayed put. Even if they do come out just make sure you have all of them and then use some grease to hold them in place.
