bendix valve seal replacement

bendix valve seal replacement

This is my first post; I have been searching for hours. Can someone please give me the part number for the two seals on each end of the power-assist actuating valve. 75 F-250 4wd, bendix steering. If nobody knows the number off the top of their head, please tell me who to call. Thanks in advance.

try NPD at npdlink.com, part #F-3A764-2, power steering cylinder seal kit for 74-77, w/ bendix control valve. then tell me if it works, i need one too. says its $38.33

Thanks for the replies. I actually just need the seals for the control valve, not the ram. NPD only had a ram kit but I will try rockauto, etc. 6 roblees told me that the valve is proprietary and therefore the seals. Obviously I can find a rebuilt valve for $250, but I would rather insert two $3.25 seals if I can find them. I will keep looking. Thanks again.

If it's anything like the Bendix power steering box on a 2 x 4 you may be screwed I believe. My seal kits were $153 each,two times seal leaked within a year. I had $500 in the box and still leaked, switched over to a Ford box. Went thru Meridian Auto Parts, a steering box rebuilder in San Diego Calif. A high quality rebuilder. Sorry if i'm out of step here as you wanted 4x4.
