transfer case trouble
Me again, sssiiiiiiggggghhhhh,,, got in my truck today to go back in the field and switched the truck into low 4 WD, and the frond wheel's wouldn't engage, it was in low range but not locked into 4 wheel drive, and now i can't get it out of low range. I have taken the motor off of the transfer case, (as it tell's you how to do in the tech article ) and the pointer seem's to be in 4 low, i tried to switch the dial back to 4 high and it won't go,I hope i havent messed it up cause it was hard to turn, kinda felt like it was turning against a spring. I was planning on a trip up north friday, but dont look like i am gonna make it, anyone ran into this kind of trouble ?? Thank's

are you in neautral with your foot on the brake? it will delay quite a bit. Also, the reason its turning like that on pavement is because it is in 4x4, one front wheel is turning faster than the other and it wants to hop.
