That's not exactly true, it depends on which 302 cam you're talking about. There are as many different cam profiles out there as you could ever hope to use, but not all of them are better. The word better itself is far too subjective. There are many very skilled and experienced engine tweakers here, but you gotta tell us what you're looking for; emissions, fuel milage, horsepower, torque, etc. All 302 non-roller cams are interchangable with non-roller 351 cams, you'll just have to change your 351 to a 302 firing order. This is as simple as switching around a few plug wires on the distributor. We'll help you find what you need, just tell us what you're after!
