Differences in 351W?

Differences in 351W?
A friend has a '95 E350 w/a worn out 351W EFI. We found what is claimed to be a '96 351W EFI w/low miles. Are both of these roller cam engines? Would there be any potential major differences we should look out for?

I could very well be wrong, but to my knowledge Ford never built a roller cam 351W. That engine was essentially the same for years except for some valvetrain and head variations. The '96 engine should be identical to the '95.

I guess I'll have to wait for the swap and teardown to find out for sure. I was told (not necessarily from reliable sources)that all were rollers since the late 80's and that '95 was the last year for the 351W. I thought I would ask here, thinking maybe someone had torn one down. Once I get the correct info, I will post it so we will all know for sure. Thanks for the help.
