Nah, mine is a one piece shaft, I didn't have to worry about it. Why would you have to change your DS? I think DJM makes all the stuff if you need to lower it with a 2-piece shaft. May want to check into it.

I've heard that it is recommended to swap out ds from a 2 peice to a 1 peice... but not 100% sure on it and I've also heard that you dont have to. I think it had something to do with the angle of the drive shaft. It doesn't make much sense to me to be honest.
I would do some research on it. You probably won't find much here, since most guys want to lift their trucks, not lower them. Call DJM, you could start there.

BellTech, DJM offer a kit just for 2 pc d/s to lower the center support bearing. You don't have to change you shaft. Also, I have seen to many cases of poor ride & alignment issues from cutting springs. I tried the lowered spring on the front of my truck to save money, 1 ride down the road & I was ordering Dream beams from Summit. Toxic shocks are a great shock for have of Bilsteins. Also, think hard about the stance you want. My suggestion, buy the dream beams from Summit, the flip kit part came in the box w/ the beams. Then, if thats too low in the rear, you can always get the hanger/ shackle kit from Belltech order it from truckperformance.com. The Belltech kit came w/ axle shims for proper pinion angle, bumpstops, hardware, & sway bar end links.
