Some of the tractors up here *pics*

These are a couple of the tractors from on the farm up here. The yellow one was home built in the shop. 1200lbs of welding rod.

Is that a 2 cycle Detroit in the Yellow one?

Yup, they are all 2 stroke V12 Detroits

looks like a V-16 detroit and it is a 2cycle they sound awsome with a set of pipes!!

Nice- Any action shots?
Was the yellow one patterned off the green ones, or is it (more) specialized?

Pretty cool looking for sure. It takes alot of motivation to weld your own tractor up too!

I'll see what I can do for action shots/videos next time they are out. The green one that isn't tucked up against the wall is the only one that is used anymore and it is mostly used for pulling stuck trucks during beet harvest.

The green ones were actually patterned off of the yellow one IIRC. The Steiger brothers used the design for the cab from the farm and built their cabs. There is a news article about it hanging up in the office at the farm. I should see if I can't get a decent picture or scan of it.

How come there aren't any pics of the allis chalmers. Some of us like the old stuff too!
