Blue Smoke

Is It Normal For A Psd To Blow Blue Smoke When First Taking Off With A Cold Motor.

just for a few minutes till i get about 1/2 mile down the road then it quits.

That's what mine does! Normal diesel. All my tractors blow blue till warmed some too. It's just unburnt fuel due to the cold.

I Also Noticed Its Been Taking Longer To Start Than Normal, Any Idea's On That. Still Starts In About 3 Sec But Used To Start In 1/2 That Time. And Its Getting Warmer Here To.

Does sound like GP's. Also you can fix that blue smoke if you wan to. PSD's arn't SUPPOSE to smoke, but they do when the injector O-rings leak a bit. New inj. O-rings will fix that = no blue smoke

YES gp's do help, even when warm ambient temps... Mine would have trouble starting above 50ºF before i replaced GP's and GPR

It Was 65 Here Today Would It Still Take Longer. When The Motor Warms Up It Starts Faster.

sounds like could be weak GP's if they've never been replaced

I Will Need Them. I Do Have One More Question. I Noticed When The Truck Gets Warm It Also Has A Mild Romp When It Idles But Not When Its Warm.
