I agree. The wiring harness will be the same, so worst case scenario would be that a sensor or actuator would be calibrated differently from one engine to the other and upset the computer. Just to be safe, check the part number on the computer in both trucks. If they're different, swap them too.
I am going to pull the 302 (jasper with 30K)and 5spd from my 90 EB Bronco and put them in my 91 EB Bronco(also a 302 5spd)
I would like to leave as mich on the 90 motor as I can.
Will it " plug and play".
What if anything from the old 91 302 would have to be moved to the "new" 302 that came out of the 90?
As far as I know the 1990&1991 EFI302 engines didn't have any changes/upgrades from the factory,and still used Speed Density electronics,so I wouldn't see any problems putting a '90 302 in place of a '91 302.
