My '69 pickup dashpad is in excellent shape, no cracks etc. Previous owner got or had made a cloth cover to protect it. Cover doesn't look bad so I will leave it on most of the time. What should I use too protect and shine the dash pad. I have heard products like armorall have alcohol in them and will dry out and crack the dash pad. What do you guys use? Thanks alot, Mike
For the last four years I have used natural dust and dirt-
I think some are just better than others, I have four here that are nearly mint, and two that are absolutely destroyed.
The best thing would probably be a damp sponge and a good dishwashing detergent with moisturizers.
