Can i make a suggestion? If youre getting new wheels anyway, why not get 16".Tires are cheaper, easier to find, bigger selection etc.16.5 stuff is getting hard to find and expensive,in my part of the country anyway.I got my 16" stock wheels from my local tire shop brand new for like 25$ each.
Becarefull if you do go with 16" rims, they will not fit some for the trucks due to the brakes without alittle grinding. I am thinking of going 17" to get away from the 16.5s, but have to look into it alittle more.

some of the 16.5 wheels won't clear the caliper either
I want to get new ones cause im hoping theyll have that little ridge that keeps the bead of the tire from unseating itself and coming off when the tire goes flat.

All 16.5's are built that way - they don't have the internal bead. Go to either a 16" or 17" rim depending on what will fit your (calipers - as mentioned) truck and budget...
