I have a 2005 screw,5.4. When I start and let it idle to warm up , windows up, when I get back into the truck the cab smells like exhaust. I brought it to the dealer once and they said they couldn't find anything or smell anything. Anybody have any ideas what it could be? It still stinks.
Literally, it's beacuse it's sitting still. Your exhaust is running around your doors, windows, etc...with those sealed, and not moving, and at an initial start-up, you'll get that... Nothing serious, so no worries for you..
My 2005 FX4 has the sulfer smell comming from the exhaust sometimes, no matter what brand of fuel I use, but even with the side exit exhaust I don't recall ever smelling it in the cab. Do you park in a confined type area like next to a building or near trees where the exhaust my not clear away fast enough?

I saw in a different thread the sulphur smell can be a sign of running lean.
Yup, I think the ventilation system is bringing in exhaust with the outside air while you're parked. You could put the system in Recirc mode sometime as soon as you start it up and see if there's a difference in the amount of fumes in the cab.
