Hey everyone. Just saying hi. Very excited that I found this forum. Have alot of questions about my 2005 F150 SuperCrew 5.4L 3V. Ive had my truck for about 6 month and have been very happy with it. I wanna start doing some stuff to it cause I cant leave any of my cars/trucks alone. LOL I wish I knew about this site early when I was under my factory warrenty cause I really got the shaft from the Ford Dealership I bought the truck from. I love the truck but something is very wrong and the dealership "could not duplicate the problem I'm having". I'm not an idiot when it comes to vehicals. I work in Nissan Parts so I know a few thing here an there about how vehicals work. When I'm cruising, lets say 40mph. If I'm behind someone and they slow down to turn like anyone else you let off the gas and brake to slow down alittle bit. After the person has turned off I then apply the gas again. So as the truck downshift to help me get my speed back a god awful bang happens, sometimes so bad its like my dash is gonna fall off. Doesnt happen all the time but it happens on any occasion the truck downshifts? I'm so upset because 3 Ford dealership have been no help. I'm not an idiot and there is definitly something wrong with the truck. Thats my only complain about the truck. Now that I'm outta warrenty I'm scaried something serious is gonna happen and I'm gonna be stuck with a truck with a junk tranny. I'm mainly a car guy and this has been my first real nice truck. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks and I cant wait to start talking to some people!!
