Brake drum removal

Simple Question, what is the trick to removing the rear brake drums on a 03 Escape? I can't seem to see a hole to back of the adjuster or anything like that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Got it, I guess I just wasn't hitting it hard enough with the hammer!
