6.0 Intercooler Swap
So I just installed the TW chip, and a 4" turbo back exhaust on my truck. I really want to install a intercooler and I have heard the 6.0 has the biggest one. So I will go with that one. Now what else will I need to install this in my truck? The tubing of course but where can I get the tubing? from a 99-03 PSD?? or a 6.0 PSD?? I am going to be gettin the parts of EBAY likely since they will be cheaper. Once I have the parts does anybody have a step by step on how to install the IC? Just some help needed to get this truck of mine running better. THanks alot

most guys make their own. one of them will chime in. i know you need the spider pipe from and early 99. and 99-03 piping plus i think a few extra bends and another piece of pipe. i havnt done it so wait for one of them before you go buying pipe you might not need.

i used a combination of 6.0 and 7.3 tubes to get the bends i needed in the places i wanted, i had no extra bending or welding to make mine, just used the factory rubber connectors to put it together. there are tons of pictures in my webshots albums on the tubes and the cooler. i did not do a step by step, i think tj did though, also the x-pipe that you will need from ford is pn F81Z-6K889-BA list price- $149.77
