Bed extender

I was thinking of puting a bed extender on my F250. It is a shortbed with a tool box in the back and I have had the need a couple of times for something like this. Has anyone seen one available for the SD? I may even make one if I can't find one.

I've heard the tailgates will inner change but I wasn't sure about the mounting. I will have to check that out though. Thanks!

bed extender

The bed extender from my 05 F150 will work on my 01 F250, but it is a few inches to long. If you wanted to move the pivot bar back on the rails, and shorten them it would line up perfectly. It looks easy to do.

You could probably get one from an 08 pretty easy too. Most of the other contractors I work with have taken them off and have them laying around the shop.
