i have an internally stock 351w factory 4 bbl, it has been stripped of all emissions and has a newer holley on it but still has the factory single exhaust. anybody have a clue at what kind of power this may put out?
factory ratings are well below that i believe and i think those are measured at the crank? how bout does any one know how much power all the emission junk was robbing?or the a/c compressor?

Lots when it's engaged.
The stock single exhaust is chocking the life out of the motor, drop everything between the heads and tailpipe and replace it longtubes and a high flow 2-1/2" single and that motor will push close to 300hp at the crank.
thats mw goal is to put a decent exhaust on it i dont see the point of having a 4bbl if it cant flow out the other side, anyone know of some easy to install headers for my truck its 2wd , c6 tranny. i can see the passenger side will be a rough fit
Sumit has several headers for these trucks, you shouldn't have any problems fitting something once the stock crap is gone. You'll also need to rejet the carb once the new exhaust is in place. Yes... it makes that much difference.
Oh I just saw your title change. If at all possible use 351 headers for your truck, 302 truck headers may fit but may hit the frame and hang lower than necessary, 302 car headers will make you crazy.. don't go there.
