there are alot of things that cause that light to go. Your best bet is to try and pull the codes with a scanner to really try to figure it out you could end up replacing sensors you don't need to.

For $10.49, you could try replacing the VSS sensor on top of the rear-end.. easy to replace.. Napa P/N 530780.. (they call it a ABS sensor).. Mine went bad about a year ago, but it also affected the speedo.. Also, check your auto trans fluid.. smell burnt? Have you been pulling any heavy loads ?
