Cam Swap 460?
Hi guys am a newer member here. I have been reading lots of forums and I have a few questions. First off my truck is a toy for me, and I don't drive it very often. I mostly sled pull the truck in hot street and I am limited to what I can mod on the truck. I want to see if a cam swap and mild port job on my heads & intake will be worth the time? Will I see any worth while gain? The cam I am looking at is crane cam 353902

Do you know what the stock cam specs are? In general the mods you have planned do produce a significant boost in power on an engine, the question is how much of an effect will it have on the 460. I'm willing to bet that cam has more lift and duration than the stock cam, but can the springs handle it? Does the intake flow enough to supply it? If you can dig up the stock cam specs I can run some DesktopDyno simulations, the more info it has the more accurate the results, so head flow numbers would also help.
