Need Something to go Wrong!

I post a ton of posts every day on FTE. Hardly any in this forum though. My 7.3 so far hasnt had anything really wrong with it at all.

My 1989 ford has be always going into those forums!

Im still very happy with my 7.3 and I hope this doesnt jinx me!

You just need to drive it more. I developed a chaffed wire around 200,000 and a small oil leak at 245,000 miles.

Keep your electrical tape and a nut driver handy in case you have to fix those.

Edit: Still typing too slow I see.

Congratulations, you just hosed yourself. Anyone care to guess what will go wrong first- glow plugs, oil leak, stuck thermostat, trans trouble?

Sheldon, darn our bad luck. I had to change my CPS twice in 117,500 miles, one was the recall. Thats the only thing that went wrong with my 7.3, and I bought it new.

There are things I want to change on mine, van turbo, injectors, things like that to make more power.

Good luck.

I have just shy of 230k km/s on mine so far, and I bought it with 165. So far I havent had a thing go wrong with it mechanically! I have the cps recall, but didnt do it yet cause mine works just fine right now. The trans was done before I bought it.

I know damn well if I hang around here lots you guys will have me getting a tuner, some exhaust and an intake, i allready want those lol.
