Interior Lights not going out..
Basically, the truck is thinking there is a door propped open somewhere. If you turn the engine off and get out of the truck, the interior light stays on like the door didn't close all the way, even though I go all the way around and make certain every door is tightly closed. Even check the barn doors and window.
Or reverse that, get in the truck and start the engine and the dash says there is a door open somewhere... Even though I have throughly checked that all doors are closed.
Is it possibly just one door imparticular? I don't see any bump switches like in older vehicles that the door pushes on to tell the computer if a door is ajar or not.. I'm assuming one of those has to be my problem, but where are they?
The door ajar switches are inside the doors and there is no connector between them and the Vehicle Security System that you can get to to check the doors.
If you can find the Vehicle Security System module on the drivers side fender there are 3 connectors in line on this module. The one closest to the firewall is the door ajar connector, 2 rows of 7 wires each with a pink/black wire in position 1 and a black wire in position 14. Ford shows the door ajar switch as Normally Closed. with the doors closed I would assume pin 4, front drives door, pin 5 front passengers, pin 6 right rear, pin 11 left rear, pin 12 lift gate within the connector should all show continuity to ground. In any case they should all test the same. So if one is different that is the one I would investigate.
If this does not find the problem I would say yo have to look at the vehicale security system itself.

I looked at the diagrams and see a normally closed switch.

Have yet to find the time to take care of the problem, but this definitely sounds like it's my issue..

But, I did take the air compressor to all the latches yesterday and saw quite a bit of dust and debris come from all the latch mechanisms.
The rear barn doors especially... And I use them quite a bit. Not to mention go to the desert to ride dirt bikes quite a bit.. My truck sees lots of dirt.
Anyways, just blowing them out seems to have done the trick for now. Although I fully intend to lube them as well.. Don't want to use WD40 because although I agree with AltaEX and believe that it is the miracle spray, don't want to use it because the dirt will only stick to it later and pull it back in.. especially since I cant get in there to wipe off the excess.. Going to find a can of dry graphite spray.. I've used that in the past and it dries well I think.
