It sounds like this would be a good engine, although you would have some header issues because of the way the exhaust ports/sparkplugs are setup on these heads. you would need to swap the lower intake for the one you are running on your truck now, because this engine uses the newer type efi system. (that is if your truck is still running a 2bbl throttle body, bolted to the intake like a carb)
but if your intake looks anything like the one on that engine already (the one on ebay) then by all means, just swap some motor mounts around, bolt your trans to it, hook everything up and take off smoking em down to the rims bud. should make an awesome setup!
Thanks for the reply, sorry I didn't mention I have EFI. Not being mechanically inclined, does it still need a upper intake manifold from the looks of it and all the hoses and wiring?
That engine on ebay is EFI. You can tell by the picture of the lower intake. There is a bunch of ports instead of 2 big ones that the carb goes on top of and there is fuel injectors. You wont be able to use your intake, you will need a GT-40.... or a mustang inake might work? The ports are a different pattern...
