propain or not?

as muck as i love spending $3.38 a gallon the thought of propain came to mind. Other than the obvious can i get a few pro's and con's as always thanks

Cons; Not as many BTU's per gallon, so not as good mpg. Cost of the conversion and a spot for the tank.

Pros; Burns very clean. Your engine oil will look brand new when you change it.

propane looks more expencive than gas

Just filled my propane tank with 170 gallons for $425....$2.50/gal, but propane has less punch than gasoline. If you're burning anything hydrocarbon-based, it's gonna cost. Welcome to the 21st century!

Try £1.03 a litre for petrol in England.

My Dodge runs on LPG which is 49.9p per litre but needs ignition system spot on other wise you'll be hunting for airboxes when it backfires.
Definately does less to the gallon on LPG but over here it's less than half price compared to petrol so that helps.
