nitrous vs propaine
i have a 75 ford f100 custom 4x4 shorty with a 390 that has about 380+/- hp
and i want more......i was thinking about putting a 25-50hp shot of nitrous in it but it is very expensive to have the bottles filled so i was wondering if propaine would have the same effect as nitrous (the same awsome surge of power)

Propane injection
c-m-d, the short answer is no. Propane is another fuel as gas, and the engine will run rich. Nox adds O2 into the intake as well as a extra jet for fuel to get the proper fuel/air ratio. Adding propane to a diesel will work. Adding Nox or O2 only will make a lean condition in a gas engine as well as aluminum flowing out the tail pipe, don't ask. Carl........o&o>.........
