Yes, the MBRP does rust. I've replaced most of mine. The hangers rust, the pipe rusts at the seams and you need to inspect it to find it. Also, the down pipe from the turbo never seemed to fit right. I had to adjust the trans heat shield. Saving my pennies for the Banks system.

aluminized steel, T904 or T304 ?
I see mbrp no longer offer a T304 option for the Excursion. Lame

Banks doesn’t spec which material they use but mine is rusty so i suspect T904.
also, on their product page it shows a hanger on both sides of the muffler, mine which originally installed back in 05-ish only had a single hanger and the muffler cracked at the welds. Banks sent me a new one no hassle, it included a new front hanger. Cool they adapted and changed the design.
I have their turbine outlet and like the design however i wish i would have done their exhaust brake instead.
