3.8 L '96 Windstar.
Hello all. I have a '96 3/8L. Windstar. Everything is great on it and works. It has 170K miles, all of which I put on. I want to keep this vehicle, but I have a problem that two Ford dealers and three mechanics cannot fix. It is being robbed of power. I've had the intake manifold gasket replaced, O2 sensors replaced because it seems to be running lean, and after driving for ahwile the check engine light comes on. Well, the geniuses at Ford just replaced the sensor. I step on the gas, and it bogs down. My brother has taken the top intake off and inspected for cracks, but found none. I have heard that it may be something to do with a valve cover gasket kit that is available. I really want to get this fixed, but I don't have any ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
