If anyone else comes across any problems/discrepencies, if you could submit a support ticket it would be muchly appreciated.

I'm lost now. I've tried everything I can think of and it's still doing it. Email links are still autoredirecting for me. 
I've logged off and back on. Closed IE and reopended it. Cleared all my browsing history (cookies, temp files, history, everything...). Restarted the whole computer, twice. Still, same thing. The correct link still appears in the address bar for a couple seconds, then whisks me away to the forum index.
This is frustrating and annoying...and really putting a damper on my FTE participation.
If there were a quick link directly in the User CP that took you straight to the first unread post of a thread, that would be nice and my issue wouldn't matter. Someone please tell me if there is such a thing. I know there's go to last post in the CP but you may have to search through several posts to find the first one you haven't read.
I also know you can open the thread and go to first unread post via the link at the top of the thread, but that's in the thread, not the User CP. If that link were in the User CP it would be nice.

This is so simple I am almost embarrassed to ask it of you. Have you simply tried going to the 99-03 main page and bookmarking that page or putting it in favorite places which ever method you are using. If all else fails install Firefox and try that.

I am quoting myself here but found the fix. Before when you hit "Submit Message" in PM window another window would pop up asking if you want a confirmation. Now you check the "Request Read Rceipt" box right below the PM text box. This will "Track Message".

It's that link in the email that's not working correctly anymore. It's that link in the email that first displays corrently then auto redirects me to the forum index. What frustrates me is it worked just fine, every time, all the time, until the recent upgrade to the newest version of VBulliten.
I also post on several other forums (some truck related, others not) that use VBulliten and they all work just fine, like FTE used to, taking me directly to the first unread post. I can't figure out why FTE is acting differently. It used to work, now it doesn't.
There are several ways to check the threads you're subscribed to. Going through the User CP is one of them. Receiving email notifications is another. I simply prefer to use the email notifications and find it quicker and more convenient to use.

Sorry I wasnt clear about my issue. After I reply, it automatically subscribes me to that thread. I do not want it to do that.
Another thing I just noticed. I wanted to edit my original issue but I cant seem to find the edit button. Anyone have an idea on either of these issues?
