Bill, what are you running for a browser? Internet explorer? Try running firefox (google it). runs alot more efficient, AD blocker and has built in spell check for everything that you use, not just FTE. Pretty cool. Oh, and it's free !

Robb, I use FireFox and it never spell checked for me while on FTE. You know a secret, I can tell.

X2 ... I run FireFox at home, can't at work though. Much faster screen refresh rate with build in spell checker.

Rog, I'm not sure? Mine has always had spell check for the "quick reply" option at the bottom. Once you went advanced, however it wouldn't work. Not with the "spell check" function, it works it both.

What version of FF you running? I think like Bill had mentioned 2.0.0.13 (most current version) should have shell checker, although I know that last few of 1. whatever had it too...

ALSO go to tools, options, advanced, and then general and be sure that "spell check as you type" is checked

spelling is one thing but i have a big problem with punctuation i wonder if they could install a program that will install proper punctuation you know with capital letters at the beginning of a sentence apostrophies when needed and periods at the end i think that would be great because reading a post like this one gives me a headache even writing it is a challenge
