Gear shift indicator light

Recently I've replaced my dash lights in my 77 f150 with blue led's and everything looks great except the gear shift indicator doesn't match. I was wondering what type of bulb it is and how do I get to it??

I believe you have to pull the steering wheel to get at it. I recently did all green LEDs but hadn't thought about that light.

No you get at it from below the steering wheel collar
Blue/red wire

Bulb #1445

Don't pull on the wire.
Grab the socket with a long pair of needle-nose pliers.

I an guessing it is the same process for a 78 f-150 with tilt column? My bulb is burnt out.

Yep, remove the trim piece from column to dash and reach up.

Could you explain more on getting it from below the steering collar? Thanx

And I will post pics as soon as I can figure out how to take a picture in the dark that will show them clearly
