How do I remove the windshield washer pump from the washer reservoir? Does it just pull out or is it held in somehow?

 

On the 98 it looks like it just pulls out. Do you have the resevoir out yet?

 

Yes.

Getting ready to put the resovoir back in the vehicle but thought it should be flushed out and shined up. Looks like it would be a better flush if that washer pump wasn't in there

(BTW, anyone know how the one pump feeds the front and back windows independently? Do they run the motor in one direction for one window wash and the opposite direction for the other window wash?)
